Welcome to the Club

If you found your way here, there’s a good chance you understand that golf is about a lot more than scorecards and swing mechanics.

It’s early morning tee times. Cart path beers. Group chats arguing about that BS gimme. Losing $20 to your buddy after he banks in a 40-foot putt he had absolutely no business making. It’s the one place where four people can spend five hours talking trash, solving life problems, and somehow still leave saying, “We gotta do this again next weekend.”

That’s what Ball Shots is about.

Our goal is to build a community of like-minded golfers who love the game, love having fun, and don’t take themselves too seriously. We believe golf should keep its traditions, but also stop pretending everyone on the course is training for the Masters.

And yes… sometimes that means getting a little sh*tfaced.

(Responsibly, of course. Mostly.)

On this blog, we’ll be sharing course reviews from around the country, stories from the road, product updates, golf trips gone wrong, and whatever other chaos the game throws at us along the way.

Because the truth is, golf really does resemble life more than almost anything else.

Sometimes you stripe one dead center and still get a horrible lie. Sometimes you hit a terrible shot and somehow end up perfect. Sometimes you spend weeks doing everything right only to chunk a wedge directly into a pond anyway.

And eventually you learn the same lesson both on the course and in life:

Taking your medicine and punching out is usually smarter than trying to squeeze it through the two-foot gap in the trees you created for yourself.

Golf humbles everybody eventually. That’s part of why we love it.

So whether you’re here for the gear, the golf content, the laughs, the drinking games, or just because your buddy sent you this after losing a putting challenge, welcome to the club.
